Old Brompton Road

London SW7

With a project value of £500k, the refurbishment and extension of a once dilapidated Victorian townhouse on one of South Kensington's busiest thoroughfares Old Brompton Road, presented a daunting challenge from the outset.  Ignored for many years, the property was in need of a complete strip out and substantial structural work to once more make it habitable for our client's young family.

Working closely with the France based architect, David Price Design, we also built a glass roof extension to the existing lightwell at first floor level.  Replacement windows throughout to upgrade the single glazed sash windows added another level of complexity to the conservation area project.  Oak parquet sourced from our supplier on the continent brings another level of classic charm to this beautiful home in the centre of London.
